Bol d’Or Mirabaud / 15 June 2013
Société Nautique de Genève (SNG)
The Bol d’Or Mirabaud is the largest European lake regatta, with more than 500 participants. Two starting lines are set-up, one for the monohulls, between Geneva-Beach and the Perle du Lac, and the other, for the multihulls (with the D35s), off the Tour Carrée.
The Bol d’Or Mirabaud is actually the great celebration of the lake and one of the most important regattas in the world. Thousands of spectators come to watch the start of the race at 10 a.m. Follow-up the race on-line on www.boldormirabaud.ch.
Last year, the Realstone Sailing team had won the 74th edition hands down with a record time of 10 hours and 52 minutes.
